 North American P-51D Mustang built 1944.
I photographed her at the recent SAAF Airshow at Waterkloof AFB, Centurion (near Johannesburg). In traditional aviation photography the prop should be blurred but I wasn't sure if that slow s/s technique would be appreciated as much as stop motion for this challenge. Whatever happens, this is one of my nicer aviation images I've ever shot and appears as if you're flying alongside as wingman.

Great job freezing the plane in mid-air, unfortunately, you also froze the prop. Some blur there would have conveyed the feeling that the plane was running and not gliding with its engine off

1 of only 2 P51s airworthy in South Africa.

Nice but you want to come back on the shutter speed quite a bit so as to get more motion blur on the prop.

Harvey? Well now I wonder what the voters would be thinking - two guys went to the airshow and decided to enter the same plane and even name it the same.. lol
