| The shot that won 1st place is fine (I live in Niagara Falls and im sick of seeing yet another falls photo) but come on this alien egg effect is way to cool and original. You should have been a top 3 finisher. |

| I'm disappointed this one didn't receive a ribbon. Excellent idea and perfect setup. This is a good example of why the tastes on this board don't always reward originality and execution. 67 votes at just 5? A joke. |

| Such a strange image ... really entrancing. Almost wants to draw you in. Love the pattern formed by the images of the surrounding eggs and the contrast they provide to the brightness in the center. Lots of speckles on the center egg over which you can let your eyes wander (escape holes for light within. And, the surface texture of the surround eggs shows also. Cool. Great image. |

Very creative and moody.
My first impression of the egg texture was noise, but after studying it,
I see it's probably just the texture. Too bad this is an open challenge and no spot editing could be done. ((6)) |
