i really thought this would be on the first page. i like that there are no clouds in it. the composition is so simple that i think clouds would've taken away from it. the processing makes it very "other-worldy". this is very well done. |

As minimalistic as urban landscape gets. Love the cool blue and desaturated concrete. |

Awesome. Incredible tones in the buildings... well, throughout. Love the lamp, like an eye the viewer initially overlooks. Great lines. Love it.
10 and a fav. |

Erk! I'm getting vertigo... I like the light area near the street lamp. |

Lovely composition! Looks like a scene out of the Matrix. Love how the soft blue acts as a cushion between the two imposing, formidable buildings. The lamppost also serves as a great focal point. |

Love the perspective! A great editing job too!
I think I might have flipped it 90 degrees counterclock wise though. I flipped my laptop and I feel that that gives the image even more depth. This lets me start at the lamp post and then follow the image upwards continually into the sky, rather than looking at the lamp post, looking up at the sky, and then coming back down again to view the other building.
Still a great shot that I greatly enjoyed perusing. 8 |
