This poor little guy only has one back leg. Though he seemed to get around just fine.
I probably should have pointed it out in the title. Maybe he would have been a little more interesting. It made the picture unbalanced in my mind, though. So I didnt want to bring attention to it.
Silly decision, in retrospect. :)
Here were the other options:
In this shot, he was cleaning his tail, kind of like a cat does!
I have some shots of a disgusting little creature called a spricket:
Also known as spider crickets or cave crickets. They are big, and incredibly creepy!!!!!! What's worse is, they way they intimidate things it to jump at them!
When I would lay down on the street, it kept jumping at me!! Really gross, really creepy. Unfortunately, I do think there was a little scream accompanying one of the shots when it actually jumped on me...
It jumped on me three times. I'm still having nightmares... And then I didn't even use the shot. The grasshopper had a much nicer face. :)
