 A late-season Cosmos pointing towards Fall leaves. Liked the colors and light, the mood, and that one folded petal. But ... not expecting a great score from a flower shot.

PP - cropped, levels, increased saturation and contrast, sharpened, reduced noise, resized, sharpened, added border, touched up background.

Beautiful bokeh - almost like a painting. Lovely perspective and lighting. Wonderful color contrast. A flower pic in a DPC free study takes some guts :) This pic pulled it off nicely - hope it does well.

Nice and sharp. Love the backgfround complementing the colours and the green stem breaking this works good. Stem protruding from a slightly odd point. Not sure it works but it is different at least from the usual. Exposure perfect and not flat. 7
