This is really good. To be able to switch from your realistic representations in the great black and white landscapes you do, to reduce the technique(I mean in a culinary sense) and put together a shot like this... just great. |

Baroque and yet, so simple - this is THE image we long for to contemplate.
"Is there anything of which one can say,
âLook! This is something newâ?
It was here already, long ago;
it was here before our time.
No one remembers the former generations,
and even those yet to come
will not be remembered
by those who follow them. "
A spectacular palipsest of memory and melancholy as said by the Ecclesiastes
"For who knows what is good for a person in life, during the few and meaningless days they pass through like a shadow? Who can tell them what will happen under the sun after they are gone?"
I consider this image a spectacular achievement in photography.
This is by far the best interpretation of the challenge in my view, leaving the digital art and other little tricks way behind. |

One just has to ponder, re-assess. Thank you very much. |

I enjoy the tense dark textures you made here, though I do wish there was some sort of central figure, you certainly evoked the spirit of Poe. |

Powerful scene. Full of chaos that represents the melancholia. |

As I said before, does not communicate much melancholy to me (undoubtedly because of the fiery sky), but what a wonderful, interesting composition! |

Exceptionally dark and moody and obviously appropriate. Going out on a limb here and saying this is a Bear_Music image based on the processing? |

I see a monster in the sky. Sky dominates more than waters, title seems to support the water as dominate. Probably doesn't make any difference. |

Sorta strange image. I can't really put into words why I like this, but it was the one that drew me the most. Good job. |
