 Had this picture taken today in a beautiful arboretum next to my place. I was standing within some trees and with my eye i say hat leaf there at about a meter or more from me, so I wanted to capture the awesome light it had and immortalize it in its moment as I have seen it. Hope you like it.

What this best captures is the movement of the season - the feel of the wind as it lashes at the last golden tones of autumn that clings to the tree branches. The composition is both warm and cold. Warm because of the lovely golden tones in the single visible leaf and the blur of those we cannot see clearly. Cold because the capture of movement makes me feel the chill of the wind that will eventually cast that leaf off of it's secure anchor on the tree branch. The focus and colors are soft but that just adds to the appeal for it gives it a dreamy feel.

I like the soft color palette and the light through the leaf. Very dreamy, indeed. This is one of those images that I like, and then the more I study it, the more I love it :-)
