 This is the door to the Crypt of Samuel Merrit (who Lake Merrit in Oakland was named after) in Mountain View Cemetery in Piedmont.

The colors though rather intense are pretty much unchanged in editing, the rich patina of the bronze doors are amazing.

I really quite like this photo. It's not overly complicated, captures all the details of the paint and lack paint, has pleasant lighting and nicely place shadows. Bravo.

An interesting lock and latches, great sharpness, overall I could have really liked this but for me, the mega-saturated greens/cyans detract from everything. I'd have rather those channels were taken down as they kinda overpower the shot; wouldn't have wanted it black and white though as the russety bronze colour is attractive.
