As I approached this young girl, I asked her if I could take her photo. She asked me why and I told her her face intrigued me. Once I heard her story I gave her money and promised to send edits of her photos to her phone .. she is a fast growing face of the homeless in the US .. her parent's lost their home due to foreclosure and she was hoping to score a bed with one of her g/f's. I hoped so too as CA has nice weather but on the day I shot this it was a cold rain. If you don't know the story, the grain could be seen as a distraction I agree .. with her story, the grain adds to the mood of her truth. She smiled do happily at the end of our impromptu photo shoot - I pray for her and her family.

Really don't like the crop, would of liked to of seen less hood and more space in front of her face. That being said, this very nicely processed.
