Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: HDR IV (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS
Location: Crown Point
Date: Nov 15, 2011
Aperture: f/9.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1
Galleries: Landscape, Architecture
Date Uploaded: Nov 16, 2011

9 Exposures -2 to +2 with .5 a stop in between.

Editing, TONS likely my most edited picture ever and first time with HDR.

Lightroom: RAW conversion
Phototmatrix: Combine exposures and tone mapping
Photoshop: 3 layers for the sky/background/foreground all processed separately. There's a little(lot) of Topaz, some Neat Image, dodge and burn, curves, levels, clone stamp, warming filter. Blended together with some rather heavy lens correction/perspective edits and sharpening. Repeated about 5 times, uploaded to DPC at least 4 times but finally got something I like. Maybe... 4 days left until the submission deadline wonder if I can leave it alone.

Original Middle exposure

Beautiful shot. I'm surprised no one else was up there. I like this composition. The foreground wall adds visual interest.

Beautiful work done here. A tad strong but great use of contrasting colours. HDR work well almost as if you have etched the building onto the background.
