This will hit bottom of the barrel score-wise...maybe, even a brown ribbon to add to my collection.

Took this shot about an hour before the challenge, downloaded it 20 minutes before turnover. There's lots of "pretty" scenery shots in this challenge and by comparison, this will flop. It's not pretty, it's not scenery and I don't own any HDR software so, this will down my average score greatly.

However...I do have to add (since I didn't get a chance pre-rollover) that it's different and it struck me as humorous. Question is...well voters see it in the same way that I do or...simply see "grotesque" and give it the good old 1 to 3 score?

Let's see who sees in it what I hope they will see in it.

Post Challenge:

I should be disappointed in the score on this one but, surprisingly, I'm not! :) The reason being...by the scores that I've seen that people have given...I was pleasantly surprised to see that there WERE indeed many who "got" what I was trying to portray with this one and enjoyed it as much as I did. To me..that means MORE than the score. :)

Hey Jamie - I really liked this, gave it a 6. It's adorable and the quality is excellent. I'm beginning to think we've both outgrown DPChallenge. HUGS, Jo ;-)

This is so charming that I wish that only his hands were in HDR! The HDR does not favor a bit this wonderful shot.

sorry, but the dragged-down eyelid and pout is just not appealing at all.
