this shot has a lot of potential. i love the idea and will score you on the effort. if you don't mind, let me take a moment to pick this a part. the composition is fine. the dof is too short and the focus is too soft. the surface and background should be smooth. you want people to be impacted by the image, not distracted by unnecessary details. it was good to use a side light, but it was a little too strong (hence the hotspots and the shadows). all the same, this is a great effort for a tough challenge! |

m&m's just aren't that neon to me... a sad attempt. 3 - and only a 3 for not taking a picture of a stupid sign. |

i LOVE it!!! :) but why didn't you make the colors brighter? on my monitor, at least, they are not as neon-y as they could be. but the dynamic, the open composition, even the light, the subtle shadows... amazing! these m&ms rock :) |

This is a good photo but the colors aren't so "neony".
I like the composition, the displacement of the m&m and the point of wiew. |
