That red ball is extremely distracting from the subject. It is a nice photo but the color ruined it for me.

This is a spectacular capture, and I have to say, I think the processing does nicely to bring balance the image. Originally gave it an 8 but am going to bump it up a notch.

Wonderul capture and perfectly framed.
The ball makes for an essential visual counterpoint to the diver, who's presumably about to curl and close into a ball as well. A future symmetry which gives dynamism and it's also mirrored in the two identical ladders.
Or perhaps I am just crazy :)
But I love it, wonderful capture.

Great crop, the ball is a really good element here, a refreshing photo. 8

This looks like it won't end well. The angle makes it appear he's headed for the cement pier, and his body position like he's unconscious. I like the intent, and there is something satisfyingly disturbing about this scene. I don't think the ball adds anything to the image. Plus desating everything but the ball gives it much more prominence than you may have intended, and pulls the eye from the "leap"

WOW nice capture. A definite feeling of freedom to feel the weightless fall to the water below. Great image.

That's great. Love the inclusion of the ball, and the invisible diagonal connecting it to the boy. I'd have left it all monochromatic, but that's just me. 7

Great timing. It really leaves us wondering here the jump started, and where it will end (water or dock). Very perplexing.

Why the distracting pink ball?
