| I want to thank everyone for the comments. This is my arm, and it is really coming up out of potting soil, which was arranged on a piece of cardboard with a hole cut into it. |

| This is definately a sad looking hand. however, I supose that's the point. I like the concept very much. I think that the exposure is good, and the angle and framing/cropping are good too. I like how the hand is not directly in the center of the photo. Great shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Can't quite figure out what the arm is supposed to be sticking out of. This hand more speaks life of hard work, rather than sorrow or loneliness. Not really thrilled by this shot. PTL |

A nice idea and good composition.
Overall the lighting & focus seem good, but the light areas on the hand seem flat and lacking in detail. |
