 Thank you everyone - I think this was the most comments I got on an image during voting that wasn't a ribbon winning image.

Taken on a snowy day, I went for a drive around the city looking for things that would look nice in the snow. Parked and walked around this house, it was a bookstore but is closed up now. I got lots of pictures of it, I really love that red door.

Simple, almost abstract. Lovely. The container and the dead flowers seem rather out of place, no color and much busier than the rest of the image. But still a special picture.

There's something inviting about a warm red door on a lovely blue building. Add a bit of snow and you have yourself a nice photograph!

I quite like this image but there is just something missing that I just can't put my finger on. It pops. The contrasting colors compliment each other well (from red to blue to white to black). All bright primary colors. I think it's the flower pot that seems out of place. Everything in the image pops and the pot is a drab brown and draws my eyes to it wondering why it is there. 6 from me. Probably 8 without the pot. Hope I'm not being to picky just trying to work through why I thought this was a 6 image.
