"Kfir" in my language means "young lion".
"Lev" is heart and "Ari" is another word for lion.
(this is why I used lion pupet)

Greetings from the Critique Club!

First impression: I gave this shot a 7 because I like everything here: the literal box on the floor on which to think out of and the blur, and what looks like a hand/hind paw escaping the box on the left. Even the modest amount of pp is agreeable.

Artistic: Frankly this is a very snaffles type shot, which is probably why I like it so much! The use of the angles of the floor planking to create dynamism and the safe sanctuary of the box being violated by the escaping lion cub. Great way to get your point across. Stick with it.

Technical: Good lighting, ambient is my guess. Comp is good, love the overhead shot but it's not everyone's cuppa tea. And seeing that this was an Expert challenge with lots of heavy hitters entered, well, I'd say that that is definitely a factor. You took a chance entering a photo with only some blur/timelapse and tonemapping, and I think it worked very well.

Overall: Definite style starting to evolve here, and you may not get high scores of tons of comments, but you are definitely learning your D90/kit lens and putting both to good use. And you used a tripod in this case too otherwise you couldn't have shot so slow, so good to know you have the gear and know when to use it. Please keep on entering what you like and let the scores fall where they may.

Feel free to PM me,

Susan

I like the idea, the tones, and the textures, but I'm not enjoying the blur.
