 Last year I visited the mountains several times and always slept through the light, so far this year I have been up in the cold waiting on the light and it has been great, but cold.... Altough I kind of cheated on which shot I used because this one is a sunset shot and I was out of position and looking the wrong direction this morning but the light was even more incredible, I have never seen it redder than this morning. But I was true to my resolution because I was out there.

Yes, good resolution. Morning is the best time to shoot too.. and shots like this definitely makes it worth it.

Nice landscape at sunset. Is that "Mount Baldy" (Mount Craig) near Grand Lake? Sure looks familiar to me. Wonderful colors in the evening clouds. We've been having some great cloud displays.
