A significant photograph for me. Capturing the light is my goal for 2012. I hope this signifies my move from a beginner amateur photog to the intermediate level :)

It is also my 100th challenge!! It would be nice if it made it to Top 10!

Not sure so far but I think that anyone from outside Australia will want to visit Yarra Valley if they can make it here! :)

I'm amazed that you think you need to improve your light skills.

Improve more? I thought that you proved yourself already. You'll have to prove yourself with the new scenery ...

I just gave this scene high marks in the night landscape challenge.... ambivalent about scoring it high again here. I'll have to ding you one point here for entering the same scene in both challenges but still a pretty high score.

Become a quantum physicist! There are so many curious shapes to be seen in the light and shadow, fantastic exemplification of your wish!

I gave this a "9". Great job. Wonderful atmospherics and countryside. (The amazing thing about this scene is it persisted into the night!!!!)

It seems like you were actually able to capture "light Itself" in this photograph, I gave it high marks! What could be different for a coveted 10 score: Possibly a little more vivid colors in the foreground, and the fact that the foreground is sharp but almost too grainy... like on the left where land meets clouds it almost looks like snowfall. That would be the only tech item I could point out, good luck in the challenge! I bet this area would make a neat tilt-shift shot too :)

Based on location and the expressed resolution, I'm going to have to guess this is MargaretN.
