Thanks for all the great comments. I also would like to have used the rule of thirds here but you would not have liked what is on the left that is not in view so I opted for the center.

Thanks for all your constructive comments.
It was an extremely cold afternoon so I didn't linger too long on the bridge over the tracks. Personally, I find some HDR edited images are "unnatural" and in this image it is presented the way the scene really appeared. In this case I think less is more.
Thanks again for your votes.

I get the same feedback; over sharpened. The tracks definitely are and look more like cables laid than the track itself. Again, HDR here would have benefited you greatly. Lovely sky you have there!

The tracks curved around the snowy bend.
I, like a hunter, followed the lead trail.
Eager to catch light of the sun's first rays,
I ran forward to chase away the chill.

It looks so cold and dark among the wall of trees! The rails of the train tracks just glows golden like a trail promising the warmth of the early morning sun that lies just beyond.

I like how the tracks are reflecting the orange. Gives extra continuity to the photo.

Good effort...I wish I could see a bit more details throughout the image, mostly in the brush.

Like the leading lines and the overall scene. Would have liked to see the front areas lightened up just a tad bit to see more detail.

Like the color.

love the reflection on the track surface, if anything i'd like to see a wider crop of this.

I do like the light captured on the rails.

Love the light on the rails. Gentle and understated.

I love the shadowy featureless horizon. Very effective.

The glow on the rails is wonderful. I'm questioning the center composition, but i'm not lowering my score for it

The glowing railroad tracks create a nice effect here.
