I like this a lot. She looks very thoughtful, and maybe a touch concerned. Nice lighting and it looks more candid than posed. |

i cant make a connection to your subject.
if this is part of a set then maybe that will help to make the connection. but judging as an individual image it lacking in some sort, i dont know what she is looking at, i can sense some emotion but is not clear what it is, sadness? wonder? boredom? it really could be any of those.
its not a bad picture, its actually quite nice, there is just nothing connecting me to her and her thoughts and it needs that for ME to be emotionally vested in it.
there are some other portraits in this challenge that are able to transcend the gap for some reason, either its eye contact or the background contributes or even the emotion in the face strikes a cord with me. |
