Okay, first of I like the overall image. Nice background and backlighting. Good use of b and w. Sharpness and detail seem fine. Good movement on the hand too! Now for my peeve. I relay find the thin vertical cropping, takes away from the image. It may have been because uncle bob was just in frame. But For me, an off size image just looks wrong to me. So I try to stick with normal photo ratios. You can get away with this kind of crop occasionally, but usually in horizontal shots. But I don't suggest it often.
Anyway, I did enjoy the shot regardless. So keep her smiling and have fun! |
