Beyond the valley green,
down in fields of gold
lays a broken dream
empty and forgotten.

I find the juxtaposition of the broken house with the golden fields and green valley very symbolic of the lost dream. A house to call home perhaps for generations. But here is lies empty and abandoned - the green valley I see as spring and renewal - but for this broken home there will be none. The fields of gold being the realm where fond memories of the past can be revisited (the golden years) offer no shelter for the broken dream of 'home' is not just physically broken & forgotten but that of the spirit as well.

What a great find to photograph; nice perspective. Looks little soft in focus but it looks like a windy day which makes that even harder to accomplish. (voted earlier)

Yes that certainly is a broken home.
The exposure looks very well controlled but the composition feels a bit bottom heavy to me. There is a lot of sky and the horizon is almost dead in the middle of the shot. Would work much better for me by cropping off a chunk of sky just above the clouds on the top.

Very nice scene, great sky and movement in the grasses.

You did a great job controlling everything in the image. Nice complimentary colors and composition.

At one time, people lived here, worked the land, loved, laughed. Then, for whatever reason, they moved on, and the house was left to the elements. The story here supersedes the technicals, without anything detracting from the image.

Best of landscape and architecture. Congratulations on the post processing. I used to manage getting that kind of presence in the yellow shrubs and grass, but I seem not to remember how anymore. Glad you do.

its just kind of there, the scenery is nice but neither complement each other that well.

I really enjoy the dead weathered grass that surrounds the collapsed building, the whole thing sitting as an island on a sea of green. Cool.

There is some wicked supernatural force at work here. Excellent.

Lovely colours and story. Heart rendering if it truly was once a home to someone

I like it when there is an abstract sense in nature. I like it.

A great range of angles created by the shadows and colours, the damaged house and colourful surroundings put me in mind of the Wizard of Oz, lol. Very nice.
