 This is one of the most remote points on the Grand Canyon. 18 miles of dirt road in and out, littered with fallen trees and old forest fires. On the north rim too, so it's already well out of the way.

This capture was almost an unintentional one. I had been focusing on the canyon itself, and turned to the right and said Wow! Luckily it came out ideally.

Relatively minimal editing: Crop, Levels, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpen.

Just enough to tease. This looks Grand Canyon like. Wonderful color contrast in light yellow foreground and red rock background. Love the trees & vegetation clinging to the cliff faces and tell caches. Very nice, clear shot.

The sky is a bit over-saturated and is a distraction to the rest of this beautiful scene. Still, it's a very charming view. :)

lighting is very harsh, however the composition is nice, the different layers add quite a bit to the image.

Sublime yes and looks very much like the Golden Gate National Park in South Africa. Superb shot which touches my soul in particular.

I feel like I'm sitting at the edge of one of these cliffs looking out over the scenery, it's very peaceful and stunning, a rich range of colours. Great shot.
