Ah! I think I get it ... is it a real woman's head with her body hidden by the curtain and the part from the scarf down is a mannequin? Interesting and colorful entry, however you did it! She looks like she could just get up and scare the bejesus out of me at any second.

No trickery here...the mannequin really looks like that. Pretty creepy, huh?

Something just looks funky about this one. The intense color and contrast of the flowers and sky versus the softer contrast and lower saturation of the tractor makes it look as though the tractor was cut and pasted into the picture, or as if the flowers in front were added on.

The light here is somewhat dull (lacking in intensity, not boring), and I don't like the shoes being cut off at the top of the frame. Also, that little bit of something in the upper right corner is distracting...more of it, or none, would have worked better IMO. Love the Chucky T's [and I'd say you still got 1000 more miles before that pair is totally spent :) ].

whatever you did to those cotton swab looking needles looks very retouched...

The blue terrycloth towel is reflecting unwanted color onto your subject, and it's not covering the upper left corner of your image either. Something white or more neutral would probably serve you better.

Now that one's got some personality! I'd like to hear the story behind this character...

Great subject! Whatever is reflecting the light back into his face is bringing out the modeling of his wrinkles really well, but i think that its reflection is a little too strong in his eyes, obscuring too much detail...otherwise I'd give this one a 9. Nicely framed and well done overall for shooting in harsh midday light.

This has too much jpeg artifacting (from overcompression) to make an accurate call as to the picture quality (look especially at the base of the vase and the cloth it sits on, as well as the background). Try saving at a higher quality setting next time.
