Comment:
This image is rather busy. The background does draw the eye toward the intended subject, but a shallower DOF would have helped to reduce many of the distractors.

I think that this would be a stronger image (particularly for the current challenge) if the people were the focus rather than the shirts.

The blue blur in the bottom left corner is rather distracting. It looks like you couldn't have cropped it out easily, but you might have been able to reduce it's prominence by desaturating the blue channel. The angle of the model's head is a bit odd, but otherwise a good image.

poorly lit, contrast too low, feet add nothing of value to the image

Without the context of the challenge I would not have been able to tell that the center image was of papers. Creative take on the challenge topic.

Comment:
Are Canadian pennies no longer made of copper? I think that the contrasting color of the two metals would have made this a more interesting shot. Good DOF

Like many of the images in this challenge, this was shot under rather harsh, directional light.

A shallower DOF may have helped you to reduce the clutter and emphasize the subject. Both the title and the cryptic subject suggest that there's some deeper meaning here, but I can't figure out what it is.

I find the shadow from the top blade of the scissors distracting. A slightly deeper DOF would have allowed you to keep the bottom handle and fingers in focus.
