MINI, Meeting New Friends......Standard!by heli_guyComment: I like the concept showing the Mini rally and the point of view. However, I think a tighter crop (maybe a third of the left side cropped out and some of the top cropped out) would have helped give more focus to the Minis. Even with that much crop, its obvious that this is a road trip in the rural roads. I like the shot, POV, and the conveyance of motion (blur of the road), nice image; just more focal point on the Minis. Good luck. |

Nissian Navaraby CraftyComment: I don't think the thin border was needed or adds to the image. Being that you did add the border, you probably should have adjusted the framing of the Nissan so that the border didn't cut through the right side of the bumper. Also, if you were able to compose the shot, it might have been better to move the position of the Nissan so that the dump truck wasn't in the background. Just an honest critique. |

a river runs through itby cginoComment: Nice photo, nice processing, nice vantage point. Yes, that is the Willamette River with three of the city's nine bridges (front to back; Hawthorne Bridge, Morrison Bridge, and Burnside Bridge) crossing the river in the image. |

Cherry chopsticksby booboo_goonComment: Well, the model certainly looks glamourous, but somehow the image isn't "all there" as a package. The focus and lighting are pretty good. I guess the thing that throws me off is how exactly are you trying to work the cherries into the "glam" image??? I see just the tips of her fingers and part of the left cherry is cut off; both of which is distracting from the glam concept. I'm thinking maybe you could have included more of her hand and all of the cherries. Also, the cherry is "just" against her lip. Maybe a more "seductive" (adding to the glam concept) way to incorporate the cherries (or maybe just one cherry would have been better) was to have the model pucker her lips against the cherry? The photo just seems to be missing something... But what do I know, its just my honest thoughts about the image...
Looking at it some more, I do like the way you posed the model to look off to her side. It gives the impression that the viewer was just "caught" looking at the subject; which is a nice technique. |

Amanda by shankswareComment: I think the way you composed the model and cropped/framed the image is fine. The lighting is good, but maybe a touch harsh. Focus is right on; her eyes are captivating. The negative aspect is the shelf(?) in the background. It unnecessarily draws away from the model, which is a great glam shot. Just my honest critique. |

I'm making an assumption here, but I seriously doubt if the guy had "cultural" worries about Fetor capturing his spirit/soul....
Drive on Fetor and Melethia, get some more great street scenes... |
