My grandmother has had a picture of this church on her wall for 20 years. A beautiful place, and you've captured it extremely well, showing its integration with the nature around it. There seems to be a slight "halo" around the rock, maybe from slight oversharpening or overcorrection of the blue sky. A softer focus or very slight gaussian blur might help that.

Beautiful shot. I like the palm(?) fronds with their softness and motion against the stark and stationary detail of the intricate tile work. Would like to see it without the peaked roof cut off at the top.

nice juxtapositions and contrasts here: the neon lighting and the stars of Orion, the natural beauty of the starlight and tree versus the brick building, the spire at the center and the cross at the left. I think moving the composition a little to the left so the cross is at the 1/3 mark might help, but losing the Orion's belt stars wouldn't be worth it.

can see some camera shake on the rocks and leaves. did you have a tripod? Nice composition, lighting, and color; just the technical aspects need a little work.

My favorite "nature" shot this challenge. I think I'd like to see it from a little earlier or a little later, with more red and less blue in the sky. The band of red along the horizon seems too defined.

One of the simplest shots in the challenge, but very moving and not at all preachy or sectarian (which is starting to bug me as I vote). Perfect focus. Nice work.

One of my top five this challenge. Reminds me of the "grace" picture in the Utah salt flats. I won't be a bit surprised to find out it's the same area. Unlike some of the others with centered church-roof compositions, this has subtlety to it and obviously careful lighting and attention to detail.

Worship comes from the heart... Church building is optional!

My favorite in the challenge. Love the contrast, love the subject, love the background, love the lighting. The only change I'd make would be to take it as more of a horizontal panorama, so we could see the full shadow of the steeple.
