He got away with itby gg3rdComment: Even though I gave this a (somewhat) low mark, I kinda agree with RianBotes. This isn't a BAD picture by any means, it just didn't appeal to ME, I was pretty sure many others would have liked it, though. I'm often torn on how to vote on pictures that are good but don't touch me, should I vote only for how I feel or should I take a more technical approach? Fickle voter base! red cupby bvyComment: Why the obsession with pink? There's a good picture here, dammit! btw, leave a red cup out in the sun for a few weeks, see what happens to it :) |

*pips*by nickybComment: I'm surprised to see this so low, such deep colors and an interesting layout of an "exotic" fruit. Nice. |

RadioFlyerby bspurgeonComment: In a "Calvin and Hobbes" cartoon, Calvin asks his dad about b+w pictures. Dad tells him that the world used to be black and white. When confronted with the fact that the b+w pictures didn't change with the rest of the world, Dad replies "that's because they were color pictures of a black and white world." This was great, forces us to think about what color is and means. |

Departed Hopes by gyabanComment: Excellent vision, combination of subjects. Even the reflections of clouds in a bright, blue sky are not enough to detract from the utter dominance of those who built those walls. |

Bad receptionby snafflesComment: Your title draws my attention to the batch of antennas, and distracts me from my initial impression of this place as one to be avoided or feared. I can't get that feeling again, just the comic arrangement of antennae . . . |
