Spatula Day 5by riversongComment: The curl of the spatula makes it look like it has been well used.
edit to add: I liked the blue on your other pictures. I just asked before because I wanted to copy the effect. :) Message edited by author 2007-06-09 10:58:27. |

8. Ribbon Abstractby suemackComment: This is so beautiful with all the warm colors and softness. A regular landscape contained within inches. |

TIGER-SWIM-300507-006.jpgby jblaylockraynerComment: This is awesome stuff. I think it's much more powerful than the one you entered. The eye contact is great. Looks like he's about to say, "have you gotten your darn picture yet"! But the underwater environment shows thru better in the other, so it was the best one to enter. |

Day 5 - Smileyby rox_roxComment: It looks surreal. like a nightmare. why is that freak sucked onto the window, a prisioner, staring out into who knows what, there in front of it, that little smile stuck on it's face. What is there to smile about? It is stuck there in a rotting car. forever.
Sorry, I got carried away. I like it. You should take these departures more often. |

Snake Eyesby Wenders11Comment: Care to share what you were going for? The shadows help give the dice a 3d look. The other side blends a lot with the background so the 3d aspect dissappears. If the picture was rotated just a bit more clockwise, a greater tension would be created making the dice look like they were falling. Was that what you were trying to do/show? A vertical composition would work better in that case. Upper placement of the dice with lots of room for them to fall into. |
