Took me a minute to recognize the ice cream cone. I like the framing and focus. For this shot, though, I wish the cone was in focus -- or at least a more obvious focal point. Though now that I have said that and looked at the picture again, I really like that both the line on the road and the model's eyes intersect at the cone. The line on the road camouflage the cone too much. Maybe if it had a bright red cherry on top -- or was a brighter colored flavor it would pop out more. Meanwhile, I don't think this shot portrays much sadness. Maybe it would feel more sad to me in a minute or two when the model examines the damage or puts it in the trash.

I was going to give this a low score because the palette isn't warm enough for me to meet the challenge. But, you have convinced me with your title. Reflecting on the title, I like for entry for this challenge a lot more. Nice.

I took several photos like this just in the last few days! Mine didn't turn out anywhere near as nice as this. Nice shot! The sky reflected in the windows really makes this work for me.

I think this is technically a great shot. To me it seems too much like a stock product shot and doesn't impact me like I wish it would.

The Chip Monster

This reminds me of the movie poster for Office Space, but it also makes me think of the movie Swamp Thing. I can't stop wondering if something just happened to the monster, or if it is about to get up from a rest, or from being born. I think more dramatic lighting or something to help make the atmosphere more eerie would be great. Awesome idea and effort!
