Evening Blushby ArtanComment: The colors here are gorgeous -- really stunning -- but the railing on the bridge looks a bit out of focus. Maybe it's just the haloing of the backlighting making it look so, but I think it's a bit soft. I think I'd prefer to see the railing sillhouetted a bit more, as well, darker against the sky. |

Oldtownby bryanbrazilComment: Beautiful reflection and nice colors in the lights. I love experimenting with shots like these. The only thing I think I'd try to do differently, and this is entirely personal preference, understand, is to try to darken the shrub in the foreground. Something about the lighter brown compared to the black silhouettes in the back feels a bit out of place. Upping the contrast a bit might help this. |

Cape Cod Canal at Duskby WylyWireComment: I like the composition and colors in this shot a lot, but it's a bit soft in focus, which is very common with low-light shots. I actually like the little tree in the foreground, but I think she shot could be improved by including less of the road in the bottom-left corner. |

Shade of beautyby LevTComment: I didn't vote on this challenge, but I really dig this image, both for its simplicity and for (what I consider to be) an innovative technique. Thanks for posting how it was achieved! |

Fawn in Fogby ubiquitousComment: While normally, I'd want to see this fawn in greater detail and closer up, I think the foggy horizon is really effective in setting a mood for this shot. I like it a lot. :) |

Lazy Sunday Afternoonby annasenseComment: Truthfully, I fall into the "if you shot it at a zoo, it doesn't -really- qualify as wildlife photography" camp, but on the other hand, I'm a sucker for a great photo, and I think this is a great photo. It looks as though you've boosted color saturation a biit, but It hink it works well -- the tigers pop out from the screen in a really cool and appealing way. Good job. |

Mom, when I grow up...by awpollardComment: I think this is an awesome picture. I love the detail of the skin and the fur, and the framing and the juxtaposition of the tall giraffe and the shorter giraffe... You're one of my picks for the top three. I hope you do very well in this competition. :) |

Hall of Steel by BobsterLobsterComment: I think this is a very interesting shot visually -- and I actually like the crop better than I liked the crop of the original. It sort of resembles a keyhole -- very interesting in its asymmetry. Great job. :) |
