I hope the voters see the humor and warmth, as well as the very real possibility that just because we find life, doesn't mean it won't be similar to what we consider "wild animals", and not "like us".

I've long said that our search for live shouldn't be limited to carbon based recreations of ourselves; the concept that a different base molecule could give rise to life is not outside the realm of possible; just outside the realm of "possible to cohabitate with, due to fundamental physiological differences".
Who is to say that those swirling gas clouds on planets like Jupiter or Venus do not contain some gaseous life?
