NOEL!by FocusPointComment: Going to start commenting on all entries where I voted a one.
The challenge was use a longer than normal exposure to create the impact of your image. This may have been a thirty second exposure, but could have been achieved using a flash. There is nothing about this image that makes me think long exposure and thus creates no meaningful impact because of that fact. |

A simple but nutritious mealby hajekaComment: Bacon wrapped anything isn't my idea of healthy, but it sure it tasty.
Easily the best in the challenge. Gave this a ten, but I might have to revisit and deduct a healthy amount since I don't actually get to eat the food. |

in the slumsby bubeltrubelComment: I wish there was more background showing so there's a greater sense this little girl is actually in the slums. I can imagine it as is, but would have given this my sole ten if the background brought out the scene a little more obviously. Instead you're tied with two others for the top spot. |

imageby jmdesignComment: Good lighting. Plain and simple shot, but effectively done.
You get one of my three tens for the challenge. |

Eye Witnessby PaulComment: Big fan of street photography, especially scenes which have a story. Even though the dude doesn't look like he's talking to the police, the title is a really nice tie in for the scene, and one that makes it look entirely plausible, that yes, he was an eye witness. |

A call for helpby Yo_SpiffComment: Good job Spiffy. Giving this one of my nines.
Love this along with many others you shot during the WWII reenactment. |

Mini Waterfallby DistantColoursComment: Normally not a fan of these kinds of scenes. Given how vibrant the colours are, along with the composition considering the ruleset is minimal boosted its score. Well done.
Also, it's clearly longer than a couple fractions of a second. |

Down the rabbit Holeby MinsoPhotoComment: I wouldn't worry about the score.
I was one of your eights, and only had two entries ranked above yours. You can't please everybody and DPC is only a small niche of people.
Was this for a client? Did they like it?
Do you like it?

If yes, then it wasn't a waste of time.
If no, you're on your own. |

Sarah Hammerby MelethiaComment: Had to stare at this for a while. Didn't think Hammer would wear those colours at an international event, but the helmet gives away it's an American. I can see two Canadians to her left.
I was hoping Laura Brown was going to win, but I'm slightly biased in that regard. This is my top pick in this challenge. |
