"In Sickness and in Health"by ThingFishComment: Giving this my third highest vote.
It's not technically superior to many (most) of the other entries, but there's a realness to this image the others lack. |

A Helping Hand by AllenPComment: Giving this my highest vote.
Nothing to really say about this image as it's simply delightful. |

Stirring RGBby banmornComment: Giving this my third highest vote along with two others.
Don't really have anything to say about this image. I don't like it or dislike it, but it was different enough to stand out and I thought it warranted a little higher vote than I would normally give it considering the other entries in this challenge. |

Without the dude in the reflection, I would have scored this much lower. He breaks up the monotonicity of cardboard in the windows. |

Windowsby ThingFishComment: Just saw this same image in Independence.
Gave this my second highest vote along with two others in this challenge. Different enough from the rest to stand out. The architectural difference throughout give it character along with the many shades of green. |

Someone has to do it!by NeatComment: Gave this my second highest vote.
Love the fact there are two people working on the building at exactly the same height. I'd like to believe they're shooting the shit while scrubbing windows. |

In The beginningby StagoleeComment: Outside the box thinking will garner a much higher vote, but will have to limit it somewhat because of the poor photo.
Gave this my second highest vote along with two others. Technically, I think it's somewhat poor, but the idea alone gave it huge props in my books. |

Alvaro's Hand by jagarComment: Glad this made the top five.
Lately, I'm finding DPC to be a bastion of terrible or unoriginal photos on the front page. This was one of the rare shots that made me take a second look. Normally portraits of random people have to be extremely interesting in order to warrant longer glances. This has that quality. |

Stop N Goby PennyStreetComment: Wow, this was hands down the best of the bunch. The rest of the photos in this challenge were a pile of junk. |
