The subject is great and the composition is pretty pleasing to the eye; the photo definitely meets the challenge. However, the white balance appears to be off, and the undersaturation doesn't really work - it would be nicer either fully coloured or converted to b&w. For some reason, my eye doesn't like the space to the left of the bridge - it wants to see the bridge go to the edge of the photo. The setting is great, though, and the focus and DOF are excellent.

This has the opportunity to be a very moving shot, but the light seems to be a bit too harsh to set the mood. The narrow crop is also distracting. The focus, however, is great, and the idea fits the challenge.

This appears to be a bit oversharpened, as there is a lot of haloing, but the effect works. Very lovely scenery, with nice colours.

The Tower

The focus on this is nice, but I think the composition leaves a little to be desired. While the tower is the main focus (as suggested by the title), the bridge feels less than secondary and really is almost more of an eyesore than an important part of the photo. The sky looks great, but the light seems a tad harsh.

I liked this one, gave it a 7. I think you did a good job of conveying pain... the negative space really works for it by giving it a sense of isolation. As others said, though, it is a tad dark. Just a bit of curves adjustment would really give this photo some oomph.

Aaee! Scary. Focus on this is excellent, though, and I like the lighting though it is a tad harsh in spots... it seems to work for the super-close photo. Still scary though. Good job nonetheless :)
