Lovely, vivid colouring on this. The angle and composition really emphasize the size of the lighthouse. The only thing I don't care much for is the border (the drop shadow distracts me) but I'm not taking off points for that.

The photo itself is good, but I think this is one instance where a neutral background takes away from the subject a bit. If the woman stood out more from the background, or there was some dramatic lighting or colour, I think it would help convey more of a sense of strength. Just my opinion :)

I like this picture quite a lot, but am not fond of the selective blue toning. It makes the child look a bit.... Smurfy. All over black and white, or perhaps a mild sepia toning, would have done wonders, I think, especially considering the tone set by the title. The composition itself is great, and the focus seems nice and crisp.

This is a very lovely photograph, but it looks overprocessed to me, or at least overly soft. I think it would look nicer with a bit more crispness; the colour is excellent, and the view is gorgeous, though.

The composition of this photo is nice, but here are the problems I have with it. The highlights are blown out, and there appears to be some damage to the quality from compression. Was this cropped from a larger photograph? It might have looked better sized down a bit. The colour also feels a tad cool, but overall this would have been a much better photograph had the lighting been more ideal, and had the noise/pixelation been eliminated or minimized. Maybe try retaking this at another time of day :)
