Memoriesby JuliBocComment: Dying roses don't easily part with their beauty. The colors here are still fetching, and the leaves, too, are lovely. |

Simple Little Crownby neenee1999Comment: The fillet of vines -- are dead vines this pliable? -- is confidently supported by this pretty young girl with the thoughtful or sad expression. Her red hair and brown eyes are very appealing. I also like how she's set off against the black field. |

Living dead among us!by FocusPointComment: I find the placement of the brown mass on top to be disconcerting, maybe deliberately so, as is death. It's all nicely set off by the surrounding bright greenery and yellowing leaves, as noted in the title. |

hear oh flora,ye will rise againby cutoutComment: I suppose this is a piece of dead wood. It's a startling depiction of agony, very powerful and moving. Or it might be an x-ray of a broken pelvis, in which case agony still pertains. |

Season of Death by CoryComment: Beautiful portrayal of winter's serenity. It's just so immediate and, yes, intimate. The weak sun casts enchanting light. My favorite of this challenge.
Dead flora too. |

Fun with Leavesby millsaComment: I love her joyful abandon, though I'd rather see her left hand than not. |

Brilliant Seed Podsby sfaliceComment: Beautifully captures the beginning moments of the inevitable fade from life's brilliance. Their physical contact is very touching. No pun intended. |

Dying Youngby AliaaComment: Reminds me of a crinoid in the ocean (as seen in google images). As such, it's a delightful environmental illusion. |
