This is a great silhoutte but it seems be be drowned out a little by all of the other bright photos in the challenge. I almost over looked this one. Two things I would like to see different in the shot. The first I think that I would have tried to leave the fence out. I have never found the seeing anything captive is better than in the wild. Second one you have no control over. I think some more fog and a slightlt tighter crop would have been great. Over a very enjoyable shot that I enjoyed viewing and voting on.

I don't know if this is a true silhoutte or not the edges are not a crip black solid edge. But i don't care I like it anyways. I wish there were a little moreof the clouds floating high on the top of the photo this would have enhanced it a bit. But I can't say for sure that they wouldn't have drowned out the realy cool plant. One of the bettrer shots of the challenge. Awsom Job!! 8

Great silhoutte work but it lacks an interesting enough subject to be one of the top contenders IMO. The silhoutte's are good and crisp and the sunset has very pleasant colors. Better than most but not quite ribbon material.

Hello zoomdack. I can't help but wonder what the rocks look like from the other side. Would you please stand out in the water and shoot them for us. Maybe the camera will get wet so that a few of us can win a few of the ribbons : ) Once again great shot. For some reason I never get bored of looking as this great scene. Very strong lines on the silhouette. Nice colors in the sky and the water is absolutaly perfect. Wonderfull job.

Bahumbug. No fair! You just knew there was a surfer on this site and that you would be able to get a good score of of him for thi wonderfull shot. (9) I would have gone higher but I cant help but wonder if this was shot at a different angle would you have captuerd more of the gold in waves. Sharp lines on the silhouettes and a wonderfull rich golden color on the sand.

Very crisp lines on the silhouette wonderfull lighting. One of the few man made silhouettes in the challenge not just showing of the female form. (not that thats a bad thing). I absolutaly love the way the hron climbs out from the shadows. The only one of it kind in the challenge, Great shot. 10

Absolutaly beyond a doubt one of the most beautifull silhouettes I have ever seen. Very stong and crisp lines. The boat alone is enough to make this a great shot. But then you give us a spectacular and brilliant sunset with mountains of perfect colors. This is to much to ask for. Absolutaly wonderfull. 10

Absolutaly breathtaking. This is just phenominal. I could look at this one for hours and never grow bored with the perfect gold water with hints of other colors gently mixed in, and the amazingly crisp ripples in the water. The silhouettes have a nice clean edge and just perfect. My only very small complaint would be that the water on the botom is a little soft. I would have liked for it to be as crisp as the rest of the image. But thats just personal raste. This is still a perfect shot worth every bit of my 10 and more.
