ummm I see the oil but where the water. Withot seeing the water I get no feel of separation. I think the waters under the oil but It also looks like it could just be part of the glass. I think this would have looked alot better if the glass had been fuller to better show the separation. not bed .. not great 5

neat. a floating egg leaking yoke through an unbroken shell. Not you standard egg shot. I like it. I see the separation and thing its obvious. I don't feel that this will be a strong contender for a ribbon. While it is interesting and creative. I think it will be quickly overlook. There is not much in the shot to grab the veiwers attention. Now six eggs.. that would have been somthing! great shot.. lacks appeal.

Fits the challenge. But I just don't find it interesting. I also feel that it is a little dark. I think if the faces were a little better lit and the rabbits had catch lights in there eyes this would be greatly improved. Otherwise looks like a pretty standard shot.

This fits the challenge as was very well done. My biggest complaint would be the shadows. I think this could have been improved with a solid white back ground. Great color and texture, crystal clear ficus.. 8

Fits the challenge well. It's slightly Out of Focus and just dosn't pop. I think that some warmer and richer colors would have help. but still a little better than most. in this challenge.

woo hoo freeky.. instant eye catcher..great DOF and focus. The lighting is nice as well. Probably one of my favorite pet shots on DPC great job..

fits the challenge well. This is a particularly chilling and wonderfull scene. I like the way the small ripple in the snow banks are shown, the depth of the shot and the colors are nice. The only thing I can see the I would change is the shadow in the bottom left of the shot.. great shot 8

ok how did you do this the kid in the shot looks to young to be an officer with flight status. but it looks so real... meets the challenge very well. One thing that bothers me is the crop circle in the top left. nice shot

this meets the challenge, The bird you were trying to have in focus is very crisp. Your DOF vanished nicely. I also feel that B&W works well here. The biggest complaint I have it that the front bird realy bothers me. I it looks bad out ot focus. I do however understand why it was done. Without the front bird you would loose the feeling of separation.. I don't know what advice to give to improve this, but I don't like the front bird..Othwise very nice shot 6

Boys vs Girls

wonderfull shot. This would have looked a bit better without the blurry bird in the foreground. While a technicaly good shot and a very pleasant shot too look at. I feel that you did not capture separation. I see the two boats in the distance. I cant tell that ones with boys the others has girls. There is no way for me to make that distiction without the title... spectacular shot that does not meet the challenge IMO 7
