Here's a case where a graduated neutral density filter could have helped out a lot. Or else a strong flash to light up the foreground...

This would probably be voted higher without the confusing shadows in the background (have her move forward) and with a tighter cropping of the face and/or cropping verticially instead of horizontally. Good luck on the challenge.

I can see that the eyebrows are in focus... but the eyes appear a little soft. Maybe a little more depth of field, or more focus on the eyes to improve the shot.

Love it! So many of the "eye" pictures are out of focus. This one is perfect. And I love the angles .. created by the forhead, the eyelid, the lashes. Well done. Good luck in the challenge!
