Freedom of Choiceby DougPazComment: I like the concept... a direct representation of a quote from the constitution. But nothing in the photograph is level (true horizontal/vertical) and it looks crooked. I think the best correction for this would have been to straighten the US flag - I think it's off by <5 degrees, but the way the eye views the photo, something has to be straight in it. |

The Priceby pncowleyComment: Good concept, pretty well executed. I like the use of negative space here to enhance the drama of the stone. |

before e-mail by ursulaComment: Impersonating the past is not within my interpretation of the challenge... as this letter is being written at the present snapshot time, it's not really the past. |

1931by blemtComment: Difficult to comment, since I know who took the pic... I think you should have been a bit to the right so the left signal light doesn't cut off the H in Harpers Ferry... overall, however, an appropriate shot. |

Windmillby SonifoComment: Title does not match the photo (unless the building behind the lantern is a lighthouse)... subject of the photo is good in that lamp. |

Ghosts of Eshtonby LindaLeeComment: I like the reflection captured in this shot... it really enhances the subject matter of the log cabin. |
