The tilt of the head is great. The lad looks inquisitive and unsuspecting of the camera. Good luck!

Great expression and sincerity in this image. The tonal range makes this "pop". Good work and good luck!

This is a gorgeous vista and as a flyfisherman, I can appreciate the location. I agree with the previous commenters regarding the image being washed out. If you continue to do shots like this, you'll have to invest in a circular polarizer. Sorry....but it means more money but it will cut down the glare and pop the colors. You may not have noticed but the horizon is slightly slanted. Have a look at the waterline on the far shore. It may appear that way because it is or maybe an illusion of the light from the left side to the right side of the image. I have been nailed on this before and you should be very aware of the impact it has on the viewer. Hope that helps.

Good angle as it makes the shot quite interesting. I see you have used contrast and curves and that is a good thing but try playing with levels and the Shaddow/Highlight tools as well. A gradient darkening the upper part of the image may have lessened the distraction created from the harsh lighting and drawn more attention to the insignia on the hood. Hope that helps a bit.

Very cool shot and a fun technique to play with. I'd suggest trying this again in a completely dark environment as it is very cool to play with this effect. Try a very long exposure with you camera mounted on a tripod. Set the timer on the shutter and then get in position for your light painting. You may also consider fiddling with the white balance as that will change the color of your light stream to something different. Look into my portfolio next week and you'll see what I've done with this.

Wow! Somewhat impressionistic. This is what Monet would have done had he had a camera.;-)
