painful gripby redpandaComment: I love it. I absolutely with out a doubt love it. A longer shutter speed and firing the flash at the second curtain would have made this one unreal. Great capture.

Comfort zoneby nico_blueComment: Great use of background and tone. Although I think a wee bit of fill from the bottom left would have really opened up the image and provided a lot more depth. The ear and jaw structures look a little off with the falloff. Otherwise, this is a great submission. Good luck, and good shooting.

Left? Right?by haakkyComment: Great use of a cast shadow here. It would have been interesting to see the shadow cast more vertically with a more rectangular crop. Although, the dichotomy in the porportion here is very interesting. Great work and good luck.

Ojizousama (small god)by MAKComment: Great use of color here. I'm also loving the second statue in the back to add emphasis to the title. I think a little fill on the left side wouldn't have hurt, but I also like the contrast. As a whole, great work. |

Lost Not Foundby Man_Called_HorseComment: Very interesting shot. The comp is beautiful, but the house and powerline elements are a tad distracting. The highlights on the edges produce a slightly 'oversharpened' look. The shot has a ton of potential, and I'm interested to see more work of the same design.

Caught Up by arnitComment: Great image, I'm really enjoying the background lighting. The subjects blue eyes go well with the piece, and the falloff on her right gives a lot of depth. The only thing I could foresee changing would be a slight vertical crop. Great image overall. |
