Ready to drink or past its prime?by sbeaumontComment: Beautifully done shot that requires the title to meet the challenge. The lighting is great and focus is really sharp...reflections in the glas are a little distracting but incredibly difficult to avoid, so I won't come down too hard about that. I suppose you could rig something up so there's a black screen in front too and shoot through a hole in it (that's just a thought here though, I've never tried anything like it). |

should I stay or should I go? by arngrimurComment: Interesting juxtaposition of elements. The overall picture has a feeling of peace and nature, and yet there's a large intersection...blatant human involvement. Well-done technically and beautifully composed. |

You go first!by wanger114Comment: NIce composition, the boy in the corner looking into the picture makes us look that way too. Not sure who he's playing with, as the title implies he is - I don't see anyone else. The dimensions are little small for people here...doesn't bug me but you'll probably get some complaints. |

What are we playing, Sam?by MrOlafssonComment: Colors are pretty washed out, better lighting or increased saturation would help. Also, it's shot a little close to your subjects; I'd like to see the bottom of the electric and possibly more of the hand/arm. |

White it is, then !by frogletComment: Well done, technically. Looks a little odd to just have the corkscrew sitting there with no obvious human intervention; it's a very sterile feeling. |

Hmmm... Where to go ?by ApeeComment: Very clear shot. Composition might be better with less on the right side and more to the left of the arrows (where they're pointing), though maybe there's junk over there you don't want. |

tattooby fauxrealComment: All the different aspects of this image come together to tell the complete story, which is nice (not a sterile studio shot). Might be cool to have it shot from a little higher up so we could see more of the tattoo-in-progress. The composition (crop?) works really well for this. |

A Faded Pathway of Eternal Beautyby shabbychicComment: Very nice shot, it's great in black and white and with the softer focus. I tried rotating it a little counterclockwise so that the left legs are more vertical and I liked it....the tilt you have is a little disconcerting to me. I've looked at the rest of your portfolio as well; you have a very good sense for composition and creating beautiful pictures. Can't wait to see you enter in some challenges, I think you'll do well. |
