good pose, good subject matter! lighting could be better though. the light on him/here is the same as the wall behind him/her. put your subject in the shade next time, where the light falls nice on them but not on the background.

to snapshot like for my taste, the lighting isn't very good and there is something going on with the sweater on the left. looks like it's been blurred maybe?

very nice, almost there with the lighting. get that light up a bit higher and it would have been there. the ratio is a little high, lost of details in the blacks on the shadow side of the face, and the hat. nice expression the finger kind of bothers me, I think it's how the light falls on it. overall nice image though, more plus then minus.

nice light direction, a little soft on focus but not too bad. holding detail and the whites and the important blacks. the stroke seems a bit heavy though. nice image all around, think it will do well.
