Don't Hate Me Because I'm Blueautifulby annasenseComment: Just came across this while browsing the site and couldn't believe that it didn't score higher - other shots in the challenge must really have been stunning! I love the composition, colours and textures.
The white looks a little off in the bottom left hand corner but apart from that a stunning photo.

Moment of Impactby RiderGalComment: Another great sports photo! Fantasic timing to capture the moment and great compsition, I love the bat and mask on the left, although I think I would have preferred it not to be cropped quite so tight on the right. I hope your internship goes well and you have good reason to be proud! |

Unsung Heroes of the Black Artby Go-KLComment: Hmmm, not sure about this one, although the pit crew may not class as "players" your title is incluing them as part of the "team" and therefore I feel that having them in the shot does go against the idea of the challenge. That said I do like the photo, the subject is nicely framed and I like the use of B&W. 7 |

Taurusby WhiskeyComment: I liked this shot and thought it may have done better than it did. There are two things that I dont like, first of all I found the watch on the models wrist quite distrating. Maybe beacuse it was on a horizontal third my eye was drawn towards it? Secondly the uneven border, I know it's a little bit picky, but I think photographs look better on this site when presented in an even border.
However a great creative and fun photograph, I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Old Bootsby agwrightComment: Can't believe this didn't make the top ten!? A great shot that met the challenge perfectly in my humble opinion. One to be proud of.

Electric Lacesby Geo_GriffinComment: I wish you had gone with your original shot, which would have scored highly with me, however as this shot stands I agree with the members of the site council, that commented on this shot, in saying that it lacks photogrpahic integrity. |

Despair in Triplicateby lizzyc3Comment: Originally posted by JoelHSmith: Don't listen to them! Its a great shot, I like how you put the focus on the mirrors, its a great point of view, it was challenging (due to the mirrors), and the way you cropped it is fantastic.

I would just like to echo what Joel said...
I Can't believe this came so low!? I guess many people voted on their thoughts on the theme of the photograph, and not on it's technical quality and dramatic impact.

Under a Palmby NukktaComment: The bottom of the trunk is too bright, this spoils the impact of the shot in my opinion. |
