Contemplationby JasComment: I'm not a crooked horizon nazi, but it really does not work in this image. |

Venusby MPRPROComment: I think that Venus had a bigger stomach :-)
Your gorgeous model either held her stomach in, or she's been hungry recently. Then again, my metabolism was similar at her age, so tell her to not take it personal.
Great photo, perfect exposure, except for the slight motion blur in her left elbow. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but it draws the attention upon it and then immediately I see the in-focus hand which is farther away...
Because of this imperfection, only an 8. |

Barney at windowby lytaComment: I would have preferred it if you'd cleaned up that background completely. I wiped my monitor, but the smudge is still there... distracting to say the least. Maybe on your monitor did not see what I'm talking about (and I can see the difference between the two whites on the far left and two blacks on the far right so it is not my monitor). pity, such a great image. |

Architecture Excellenceby samanwarComment: Frame! I did not really see the frame as necessary, nor as complementing the photo. It kind of ruins it for me to be frank. You'll probably get mixed reviews on it, and polarizing the voting body usually does not produce good results. However, if you shoot (and post-process) to please yourself first, you've done a great job! 7 |

Back and Forthby cryingdragonComment: One thing that possibly hurt your image is the size - always go with the max allowed. Yours was probably under 400x400, and you could have gone full size with this square crop.
Another issue is the rule of 3rds - you went with the 50-50 vertical split. It might have been more appealing if you dropped the bottom quarter of the image, achieving two things: 1) more pleasing composition and 2) less of the OOF subject in the crop.
Hope this helps! |
