05/05/05 5:05:05by RickHComment: I keep coming back to this one trying to decide whether I like the border or not. I think, in the end, that the border helps the image rather than take away from it. I was particularly bothered with the aliased top & the bottom, but I am convinced now that it is good. 7. |

In My Dreamsby JeileenComment: Another one that is amazing - it looks alive, it keeps coming at me. Not as effective as the other one but very good indeed. 8. |

Midnight beautyby parrotheadComment: Nice photo. Things that could have made it better for me:
- the backlight has green hue, and creates some overly hot areas at the model's hair ends.
- there are two lines across the model thighs/shins, that should have been cloned out.
- there is a branch with some leaves at the right edge of the photo about 40% from the top which steals attention, that could have been cloned as well.
Otherwise, probably a top-50 photo. 6. |

Happy Cinco de Mayo!by remarshComment: Do you work at the grocery store or do you actually have 5 jars of mayonnaise at home?!
I like the relation to cinco de mayo here. But this image does not stand out to be serious contender for the top 10. 6 for the idea and the effort. |

five little pupsby parrotheadComment: Very cute! However, something is bothering me on the very right side - you should have cropped it, along with the left side, even at the risk of cutting off the paw. It's cut off already, and the lines just draw too much attention. 5. |

$5.55by liquidprideComment: nice reflections (the lack of actually) off the coins. Tricky to do that. I only wish for a tighter crop so I did not have to look at your background surface. 6. |

Five Fives (5 petals, taken at 5:00 on 5-5-05)by dphillipsComment: ...and you're going to get a 5 for this:)
that stem (?) in the lower left is unnecessary grabbing attention, and something cast shadow on the lower part of the flower as well as on the left petal. The flower itself is on the softer side focus-wise and that's ok. However, I think that you should have either used a wider aperture, or blurred the background in post-processing some more.

Ghosts In The Darknessby ShaneBlakeComment: This would have been much more effective if you either cropped out the flashlight, or if you had placed it somewhere on the floor so it is not in the photo. I assume you've done this by yourself, otherwise you could have had someone aim the flashlight at you twice.... Still a good idea. 5. |

Untouchable Beautyby gg_139Comment: Nice touch with the fence - a connection to the title is obvious. However, the photo alone without the title is not powerful by itself. |
