risky businessby ScantyNebulaComment: I don't see the advantage of going with this shallow DOF. Especially not using this angle for the photo. I think it would be more successful in a portrait format with the cannon pointng up. Also with a little more room in front of the cannon. Then, put the focus on the cannon thus deemphasizing the focus on the troops. |

Ice Vs waterby DufusComment: I think less exposure would produce a little more mood with this shot. Its just a little too bright. If you sharpened this picture any, it might not have been a good idea. If you didn't then never mind that last statement. |

Animal has no shynessby dinnComment: Beautiful bird. Awesome color. Challenge relevant? Not in my eyes. A lovely picture, but more successful with a different challenge. |

The Solutionby MundiComment: The hot spots are just a little hot, especially for the mood of this photo. I think darker is better for portraying the anger shown on this young man's face. The pose is good. The photo should be cropped a little more to make his face more prominent in the picture since it is really the focal point. I think you did well though. 7 |

Faux Pasby thebone123Comment: This photo looks like you were shooting thru some kind of haze. Maybe bumping the contrast up just a little would solve that. The crop is a little tight as well. |

Dark vs. Light ?by thomkatComment: This photo is a little bit grainy. The bright parts are just a little to bright. Good theme and it works for this challenge, but this photo is a little bit off. |

Apple vs Windowsby cabaComment: Not clear enough. This is not a photo that can get away with being soft unless you used some fancy lighting and softened the picture up. As a black and white, I think that goes double. This photo is a good candidate to desaturate all the colors but red. good luck |
