this photo really made me smile. simply precious! i'm not usually a fan of small dogs, but this shot really makes me want one! fantastic focus. i love the way his eyes come to life and we can see even the tiniest details of his face. the colors are amazing as well. so crisp and bright. they really add to the shot. the black bg makes for an excellent backdrop and makes your little dogs face pop right out of the composition and i have to say the pink really does flatter him (not to mention i'm in love with the o so soft texture of the feathers).

i absolutely love the personality you have captured here. it makes my heart just melt. as a horse lover AND someone who works with racehorses i can really appreciate the reaction of children at the track. i love the eagerness of the pose and the kind look on the rider's face. the horse looks happy as well. i think it would help to have this shot in b/w to add to the emotional aspect of it and give it that classic feel, but i will admit that i'm loving the reds of the track and the bay's coat.

what a fantastic idea! certainly an unexpected find. brilliant b/w. i like the silhouettes. great shapes. the biggest fish really adds balance to a busy composition. makes it seem neatly organized. and it made me smile, which is always refreshing.

now these guys are adorable! i love that we can see the texture of the down. the fuzz along the neck of the standing one is especially delightful. fantastic colors of course. those yellows really stand out. picture perfect! i like the varied poses and the way the sitting one looks up to the standing one. they look attentive yet innocent. the setting and low angle work wonders and i especially like the soft blue of the water. good choice of focus. i think the only thing i'd change is the negative space on the bottom. i'd like to see a crop with a level horizon and less grass for the eye to get distracted by on the way to the birds. otherwise, perfect.

a stunning creature and a clever lyric choice. i love the detail and the texture of the feathers. elegant lines. the close crop makes for good composition. simply lovely. the only bad thing i can possibly think of is that i wish the legs were as sharp as the rest of the image.
